Position statement and/or session proposals should not exceed two pages in length. For both position statements and session proposals, a thorough discussion of the roles of international collaboration and experimentation-based research is an essential part of the submission. Position statements should include at least the following information: author(s), participant(s) who will attend GEFI 2019, description of research (clearly distinguishing among past, ongoing, and planned efforts), history and plans for international collaboration. Session proposals should include at least the following information: summary of research trend; candidate session chairs (two chairs from different continents – please indicate whether named individuals have agreed to serve); potential session participants; summary of recent progress and anticipated benefits of international collaboration in the proposed area.
